We are on the lookout for a dedicated Travel and Hospitality Coordinator to oversee all travel arrangements and hospitality requirements for a high-profile individual and their family based in New York City. This full-time role offers a mix of in-office and remote work, with a typical schedule of 8am-5:30pm/6pm, flexible to accommodate early starts or late finishes and travel as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute complex logistics for personal and high-profile hospitality events, aiming for a customized experience at elite venues.
Work closely with hotels and restaurants to ensure the best possible reservations and accommodations.
Understand and cater to the principal's specific preferences.
Create detailed travel itineraries, documents, and briefing materials.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with essential contacts across the hospitality industry.
Perform global market research to discover premier restaurants, venues, and destinations.
Assist the principal and the Chief of Staff team in site visits both locally and internationally.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends to make informed recommendations on travel and hospitality options.
Requirements:
A degree is preferred.
5-8+ years of experience in the luxury travel, hospitality, or lifestyle sectors.
Willingness to travel extensively, including international trips, often at short notice.
A creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
Familiarity with travel booking systems and standard office software.
A high level of professionalism and a white-glove service approach.
Experience dealing with high-profile individuals is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits:
A competitive base salary of up to $200,000, depending on experience, plus overtime and bonus opportunities.
