We seek an exceptional individual to lead the Product Lifecycle Operations team. As part of the Global Supply Chain Operations organization, this strategic role fosters strong cross-functional partnerships and leads a talented team to manage Pure Storage's product lifecycle from cradle to grave. You'll be more than just an operator – you'll be a sought-after coach and mentor to build and execute high performing business processes.
PLC Powerhouse & Trusted Partner: Manage and lead launch management readiness activities with an emphasis on best practices in a supply chain/manufacturing environment.  Ensure readiness and requirements are met for New Product Introduction (NPI) phase exits. Lead the development of scalable functional and operational PLC strategies, roadmaps, and business management systems and solutions. Provide guidance and direction to cross-functional teams in multiple disciplines required to launch next generation products. Develop and deploy scalable processes and requirements for improved operational efficiencies. Lead projects that drive scalable change providing continuous improvement across cost, quality and delivery goals. Ensure risk management practices and sustainability considerations are incorporated into all next gen product designs and manufacturing plans  Develop the End-of-Life and New Product Transition strategies and executable plans for Operations in collaboration with product management, engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing. Drive contract manufacturing site teams for product design changes as required. Limited domestic and international travel to support product launches. Build a High-Performing Team: Build out, lead, and develop your program and materials management teams to support business objectives. Foster a collaborative, high-performing, and inclusive environment both within the supply chain team and across functions. Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to the, supporting their professional aspirations, development, and effectiveness. Be a trusted advisor and sounding board. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM… 10+ years of experience in New Products launch activities as a leader and program manager working directly with JDM/Contract Manufacturing, HW engineering, SW Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, and Product Management. Well-developed ability to operate within and manage the relationships between engineering, product management, planning, strategic sourcing, manufacturing, CM processes, logistics, and customer service. Entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for leading people, implementing smart processes, and working collaboratively. Strong knowledge of design, development, integration, and supply chain processes for hardware products. Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including a strong executive presence. Exceptionally high level of emotional intelligence and ability to influence people and outcomes. Superior problem-solving skills and ability to think critically, incorporating sound judgment and business acumen to analyze information, remove roadblocks, and drive results. Exceptional ability to make clear decisions and recommendations that balance strategic direction and guidance with tactical details and experience. Proven ability to effectively lead, develop and manage a team. Superior knowledge of project management techniques and best practices. Highest ethical standards, integrity, authenticity, credibility, and character. Experience working with multinational cross functional teams. Bachelor of Science and MBA, PMP/PMI certification, Supply Chain certification, Advanced degree preferred. This position is located in our HQ in Santa Clara, CA. Must be willing to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. #LI-HYBRID #LI-ONSITE
USD $200,000.00 - USD $320,000.00 /Yr.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
