As a Staff Civil Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting civil site design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and project management tasks. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the engineering design process, contributing to construction drawings, and providing technical support across various projects. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders will be a fundamental aspect of your role.

What you will accomplish: Assist in engineering design and development of construction plans for oil and gas and solar developments. Participate in field work for site assessments, erosion control inspections, and surveys. Utilize AutoDesk Civil 3D for construction plan development. Conduct hydraulic, hydrologic, and water quality assessments. Collaborate with Project Manager to maintain project schedules and budgets. Attend internal design training sessions for skill development. Work independently and with team to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment. Perform tasks under supervision, including design, drafting, and research. Assist in permit applications, drawings, and CAD work. Coordinate tasks with technicians or administrative staff. Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies as directed. Ensure safety plan implementation in field operations. Experience and qualifications for success: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering. Knowledge of erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and civil site design principles. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Experience in supporting proposal development and client management activities.
