Design Engineer

Title: Tooling Design Engineer
Location: Mossville, IL
Type: Fulltime (Direct Hire)
Job Description:
This position requires a high degree of experience and expertise in manufacturing such as tool design, fixture design, and manufacturing technology.
The candidate needs to have a good understanding of tool design to combine with process design expertise to provide for improved manufacturability of parts and major
components.
This position will be working with tool design teams in Mexico and India to support factories globally.
Provides direction and solve tooling needs and improve production productivity.
Works with multiple groups in the development of tool designs to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective solution.
Basic Qualifications
A BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronic or similar major) or 15 years experience in tool and die making
5 years experience in Tooling Design
5 years experience with Heavy Fabrication
Ability to travel internationally 30% of the time
Experience in Project Management

Hands on Mechanical Aptitude
GD&T Experience
3D Modeling Experience
Experience with Work Holding equipment
Experience with PLC Programming, Robotics, Welding and/or Machining
Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Spanish or Hindi Language Skills
