Thousands of scientists, researchers, and engineers work tirelessly to ensure success with new therapies, new technologies, delivering our pipelines, and pursue strategic innovation.  Product DNA is an ecosystem that creates a connected thread of product information, harnessing the collective ingenuity of employees across functions, enabling better collaboration with customers and partners, to rapidly deliver quality products and services, ultimately improving more patients' lives.  As the GT&I Product DNA Wave Deployment Program Manager, you will play a critical role in driving local deployment activities at the local Operating Unit (OU), Region and Function level for each release wave.  The release waves include capabilities such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Mechanical CAD/PDM.  In this role, you willliaise closely with Medtronic Operating Units (OUs), Regions, and Functions as well as various factions of the Product DNA team including Migration, PMO, Organizational Change Management, Training, and other teams to ensure alignment of the Product DNA program deliverables.  We believe that when people from different cultures, genders, and points of view come together, innovation is the result —and everyone wins. Together, we can transform healthcare.  Join us for a career that changes lives.  Medtronic is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.  A DAY IN THE LIFE• Oversee and manage the operational aspects of the Product DNA project at the local level and serves as liaison between local project management and planning, local project team, and Product DNA management and team.• Review status of local projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares and delivers status reports.• Monitor the project for each wave from initiation through delivery.• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with the Product DNA and OU/Regional teams.• Communicate with stakeholders and obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure the end deliverables will solve the business problems.• Execute on deliverables to assure OUs remain on track to the project plan, including role mapping, identification of local procedures needing updating, data migration, etc.• Assist the OCM Lead at the local level.• Adapt the Enterprise communications and engagement strategy to define the local communications and engagement plan.• As stakeholder liaison, answer implementation readiness questions, including but not limited to local procedures redlines, training development, role mapping activities.• Champion Product DNA in a way that engages and excites the end user community.• Prepare and participate in Design Pilots, Useability Pilots and User Acceptance Testing.• Provide post go-live Hypercare.MUST HAVE(Minimum Qualifications)• Bachelor's degree• 7+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with an advanced degreeNICE TO HAVE(Preferred Qualifications)• Strongly Preferred:o Previous Medtronic experienceo Previous program management experience. o Experience using PLM tools (Winchill, Agile, Enovia, etc.) o Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics in a matrix environment. o Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.  o Ability to establish and maintain a trusted role with the various stakeholders in coordinating multiple functions across multiple organizations. o Able to flex in and out where the program needs by wearing multiple hats to lead and/or execute other swimlanes on the program such as local training, role mapping, data migration and organizational change management. o Familiarity with enterprise level systems (ERP, PDM, PLM, SAP, ALM, etc.). • Experience managing teams across different geographies remotely. • Experience using PDM tools. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, negotiating; planning and organizing teamwork; ability to address difficult situations; conflict resolution; resource constraint and problem solving. Strong written communication skills. • Effective planning and organization skills including the proven ability to work against multiple objectives and on multiple programs simultaneously. • Ability to balance team leadership responsibilities while still operating as an individual contributor at times. • Practical knowledge in leading people through change, including execution of processes, projects, and tactics in a matrixed environment. • Experience implementing initiatives through effective influence management skills at multiple levels in the organization. • Strong interpersonal, relationship and team building skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to tailor communication for different audiences.• Domestic Travel: Ability to travel within the United States up to 15% of the time if based outside the Minneapolis metropolitan area.ABOUT MEDTRONICTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
