Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and support to staff providing shelter services and advocacy• Recruit, hire and coordinate training for shelter employees• Develop, implement, and maintain program-specific procedural manuals and policies• Facilitate regular team meetings• Establish and maintain active working relationships with community partners and funders• Represent Agate in meetings with other agencies, businesses, and government• Manage the financial resources of the programs within the budget• Ensure quality file keeping and case documentation by direct service staff• Oversee program reporting and ensure compliance with guidelines and requirements• Respond to changing community needs and incorporate best practices
Requirements
• Three years minimum working with people experiencing homelessness• Knowledge of and experience working with Hennepin County Coordinated Entry System• Experience working directly with people from diverse backgrounds• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills• Basic computer skills• Licensed social worker at the graduate level preferred• Fluency in languages used by clients preferred
