What we are looking for:
The Propulsion Systems group at Re:Car is looking for an upbeat, fun, organized, experiencedTorque Security Calibration Engineerto join our growing team.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to calibrating the propulsion system, calibration tracking, and understanding supervisory control  governing body compliance.
What you get to do:
Be responsible for integrating key parts of the software and calibrating all HV and Propulsion related monitoring functions and coordinating vehicle reactions.
Prototype vehicle calibration and support.
Translate vehicle functional safety requirements/functional objectives and formulate development and testing plans.
Work with Re:Car suppliers (through Development Phases Alpha, Beta, PV, Product intent) and with Re:Car teams (Chief Engineer, architecture, purchasing, program manager, and quality engineers) to ensure the successful launch and release.
Define, complete and supervise design verification plans (DVP) and reporting
Support production ramp and field issue resolution
Develop and implement Vehicle Reaction Testing.
Provide and report Vehicle Reaction Testing status throughout program development 
Calibration change management (documentation of calibrations and changes)
Execute programs through the development process that meet or exceed objectives for performance, drivability and customer satisfaction

What you bring to the team:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field
Minimum of 5 years in relevant experience (propulsion controls, calibration, and/or testing)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant Vehicle Reaction Testing and/or Torque Security experience
Ability to review software documents to learn and understand software.
Demonstrated experience with calibration and DVP&R through the complete product cycle
Experience in problem solving
Strong technical research and writing skills
Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Engineering or Business
Experience in the full product life cycle
Reactive and/or DFSS black belt
Previous Hybrid or electrification calibration experience
HW/SW knowledge and validation/release experience
