ABOUT Re:CarRe:Car, is a new US company that is exploring development in the electric vehicle space.Founded in early 2022, Project Re:Car spent its formative months establishing a leadership team and the product definition.What we are looking for:The Propulsion Systems group at Re:Car LLC is looking for an energetic, fun, organized, experiencedOBD Calibration Engineerto join our growing team.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to calibrating the propulsion system, calibration tracking, and understanding supervisory control  governing body compliance.What you get to do:Integrate key parts of the software and calibrating all HV and Propulsion related diagnostics and its associated reaction.Prototype vehicle calibration and support.Translate vehicle diagnostic requirements/functional objectives and formulate development and testing plans.Work with Re:Car suppliers (through Development Phases Alpha, Beta, PV, Product intent) and teams (Chief Engineer, architecture, purchasing, program manager, and quality engineers) to ensure the successful launch and release.Define, complete and supervise design verification plans (DVP) and reportingSupport production ramp and field issue resolutionProvide and report Diagnostic status throughout programCalibration change management (documentation of calibrations and changes)Implement programs through the development process that meet or exceed objectives for performance, drivability and customer satisfactionWhat you bring to the team:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering fieldMinimum of 5 years in relevant experience (propulsion controls, calibration, and/or testing)Minimum of 2 years of relevant OBD experienceAbility to review software documents to learn and understand software.Demonstrated experience with calibration and DVP&R through the complete product cycleExperience in problem solvingStrong technical research and writing skillsStrong communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Engineering or BusinessExperience in the full product life cycleReactive and/or DFSS black beltPrevious Hybrid or electrification calibration experienceHW/SW knowledge and validation/release experienceWe want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate:Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
