Responsibilities
• Learn and use railroad operating systems to manage productivity within operations teams• Promote safety through active observations and discussions about rule compliance• Lead and supervise T&E operating employees• Demonstrate effective leadership competencies• Prioritize work and make decisions aligned with CPKC's values• Complete and pass management train conductor certification• Successfully complete all phases of the LMT program
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education preferred• 1-2 years of supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, or related industries preferred• Valid driver's license required• Ability to cross the border into the United States• Willingness to travel and relocate• Ability to work 24/7 shifts and in all weather conditions• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to foster trust and build relationships• Proven time management skills• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability• Leadership presence and commitment to career advancement
