Paradyme is hiring a People Rewards & Engagement Generalist to support People Operations and marketing and communications efforts. Successful candidates will be interested in supporting our growing organization in a dual role tasked 75% with People Operations and 25% engagement and communication efforts implementing CEO's initiatives. People Ops functions include planning, conducting, and coordinating the development and administration of People Ops programs in functions such as employment, benefits, unemployment insurance, and related areas. Engagement and communications responsibilities include promoting company initiatives, content creation and distribution, and managing special events.
Must be local to the DC, MD, VA area to work a Hybrid schedule and to attend organized corporate events. Responsibilities Human Resources: Under the supervision of the Director of People Operations, administer benefit plans including enrollments, changes, and terminations, and manage yearly open enrollment process. Reconcile benefit statements and process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping of deductions. Manages the 401k plan, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Process required documents to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Compile annual census data and assist with 401k audit and Form 5500. Enter, update, and approve benefit changes in HRIS with 100% accuracy; audit and maintain employee records. Perform periodic quality checks of benefits-related data. Process and administer all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA effectively interpreting compliance implications. Implement company's DE&I strategy, programs, and events. Monitor HR inbox and reply, or route inquiries and requests to applicable team members. Maintain multiple systems and ensure accuracy and compliance of records. Performs pre-and post-onboarding tasks and offboarding duties within the company-defined timeframe as needed. Assists with various day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties such as coordination with IT and coordinating purchases of corporate morale gifts, recognitions, and swag. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Engagement & Communications: Coordinate and implement marketing campaigns to promote company events, news and initiatives. This includes internal and external comms regarding new hires, program wins, and important initiatives across the company. Implement Paradyme's communication strategy to enhance employee engagement and brand awareness (e.g., monthly newsletters, communications surrounding townhall meetings) Content Creation for company website, newsletters, and other communication channels such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, etc., on a frequent basis (2-3x a week). Monitor corporate website and social media pages and expand Paradyme's social media presence. Implement communication efforts around culture and brand awareness strategies highlighting important news within the company. Coordinate in person and virtual employee engagement events such as happy hours, win parties, all-hands events, and end of year celebrations. Qualifications Bachelors in HR, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience (in lieu of degree). SHRM/HRIC Certification desired but not required. Minimum 5-7 years of related HR experience in the following HR functions. Benefit administration and maintenance of employee records. Wellness programs administration Onboarding & Offboarding HRIS data entry and reporting Employment Verifications Proficiency using ADP WFN and/or other HRIS desired. Previous experience performing marketing communications activities desired. Working Experience in online content management tools (e.g., WordPress Constant Contact, Hootsuite, Canva, and others). Must share the company's "employee first" philosophy. Solid critical thinking skills: analysis, interpretation, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate across all levels of the organization as well as being able to maintain a level of high confidentiality. Must be a proactive and self-motivated individual who takes the initiative to learn and start/complete assignments in a timely manner. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.) required. Experience managing multiple email boxes. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
