Job summary
The Human Resources Manager is a strategic business partner with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results by taking a positive, hands-on approach with the business partners and Associates.This position is responsible for HR Operations at our Stuarts Draft, VA manufacturing plant.This role will be responsible for providing proactive, operational HR advice and support in regard to organizational design, capability development, talent management, performance management, recruitment and change management consistent with the company's mission, vision, strategy and culture.

Responsibilities
• Implement HR programs in alignment with Hollister's Talent Management and Culture strategies providing advice and counsel to Hollister management and Associates.• Develop and implement effective staffing and organizational design strategies.• Drive the internal Succession and Development Planning (DSP) process and partner with the business to drive the actions that build a strong talent pipeline to support and enhance business goals.• Identify people and organizational related issues and recommend solutions that support the organization and drive the business forward.• Advise and counsel all levels of management and Associates on both employee relations and performance issues.• Provide consultative support to performance planning and management to all Associates ensuring effective utilization of the process.• Cultivate the Hollister Culture. Build and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with Associates working toward the achievement of local and global business plans.• Coach and develop line managers to work as a cohesive and effective team, building on their leadership and management capabilities in order to drive change and efficiency.• Drive development of Associate capabilities to provide competitive advantage in focus areas.• Partner with the global HR functions (compensation, benefits and learning and development) on delivering appropriate and timely programs and processes.• Maintain a network of external contacts appropriate to support business needs.• Develop and implement processes to continually improve the quality of HR services and programs.• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
Requirements
• B.S. / B.A in Business, or related field (required)• MBA or MS (a plus)• 5-8 years of generalist human resources experience• 5-8 years of leadership experience• Experience working in an operations environment such as manufacturing or distribution is a plus• Variety of exposure to Senior Leadership• Org design and development; succession planning, recruitment, reviews• Global experience is a plus
Key Skills Needed
• In-depth human resources generalist experience with strong knowledge across the core functional areas of recruitment, organizational development, talent management, reward and recognition, employee communications, change management and performance management.• Experience working in a multinational business, ideally with a track record of operating effectively in a matrixed organization across cultural borders.• Self-starter with ability to operate independently.• Human Resources leadership experience with a strong track record of coaching and developing a management team.• Excellent communication skills• English Fluency
