Position Summary:
We are seeking an Employment Marketing Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of strategies aimed at attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in employment marketing to enhance our employer brand across various locations and roles, ultimately increasing applicant flow, strengthening our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), and employing effective sourcing tactics to fill openings. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including HR and Corporate Communications, will be key to amplifying our employer brand awareness and positioning Ventura Foods as an Employer of Choice.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize the Ventura Edge and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to establish and maintain a compelling employer brand that showcases Ventura Foods as an employer of choice, emphasizing company culture, Total Rewards offerings, learning and development opportunities, etc.
Manage platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Ventura Foods' career site, and other job advertising platforms to optimize spend, leverage new features, and provide internal user training.
Develop strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through grassroots efforts, local trade schools/apprenticeship programs, career fairs, search-engine-optimized job postings, and industry events.
Customize employment marketing plans for individual manufacturing sites, considering applicant flow, local markets, budgets, and staffing goals, with a focus on frontline talent.
Create engaging content including virtual/video job descriptions, employee testimonials, social media posts, informational videos, and infographics to promote our employment brand and current job openings.
Establish reporting and analytics to track and analyze the effectiveness of recruitment marketing campaigns, programs, and initiatives, optimizing strategies based on insights derived from reporting.
Manage Ventura Foods' employer reputation in the market to increase candidate interest, highlighting company ratings and best places to work designations.
Implement candidate engagement strategies, including email marketing, talent pools/CRM capabilities, nurture campaigns, and social media engagement.
Education and Experience:
7+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Employment Marketing, Communications, and/or HR.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in setting up, tracking, and measuring successful recruitment campaigns across various channels.
Experience in developing and managing employment marketing and job advertising budgets.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficiency in a variety of employment marketing tactics, candidate engagement and reengagement strategies, and creating strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Creativity and a passion for marketing and talent acquisition.
