Job Description:We are seeking a talented and motivated Communications Specialist to join our team at Fluor in San Francisco, California. As an Associate Level Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in the development and execution of communication strategies to enhance the company's brand and reputation.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communication plans and strategies to support business objectives- Create compelling content for various platforms including social media, press releases, internal communications, and marketing materials- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement- Serve as a liaison between the company and media outlets to manage public relations efforts- Handle crisis communication situations with grace and professionalism- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication to stay ahead of the curve
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a communications role- Independent and resilient with the ability to work well under pressure- Strong leadership skills and the ability to think creatively- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with social media platforms- Experience with graphic design and video editing is a plus- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team- Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
