Description
Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is seeking a motivated Support Specialist to join our team! We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented professional to apply their skills and help ensure workflow continues even during high demand activities. This position offers a hybrid work schedule.
The Support Specialist will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Overseeing all aspects of purchasing and contract administration for the IT department of the organization with occasional assistance to other departments.
Manage and be primary POC for all mobile devices throughout the organization (currently iPhone).
Track and submit purchasing requests, maintain contract dates and deadline information, and track and initiate renewals.
Assist with IT department administrative functions for the contractual team, and all other activities associated with the procurement side of an IT organization.
Requirements Candidate must be a US citizen
Candidate must possess active DoD Secret clearance
Candidate must have 1+ years hands-on technical experience with supporting the purchasing side of an IT environment
Preferred Skills Proficient in the procurement process
Expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office products
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
Experience with coordinating various team related items to include staff accountability items, time tracking, and timesheet submittals
