About the Opportunity: As a Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist you will provide basewide client computer support to Tinker AFB. As the entry point of our helpdesk team the Helpdesk Tier I will manage foundational technical inquiries ensuring a smooth IT experience for our client.
Position: Tier 1 Help Desk Specialist
Work Location: Tinker AFB Oklahoma
Client: United States Air Force (USAF)
Primary Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone email or in person.
Diagnose research and resolve tier 1 technical hardware and software issues.
Effectively advise and assist customers on appropriate action.
Provide accurate information on IT products and services.
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
Maintain the highest possible level of customer service.
Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate effective training content.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications A working knowledge of and experience with EUD Hardware Remedy Help Desk Software System and subsequent versions Directory and Resource Administrator (DRA) network infrastructure Windows Operating Systems MS Office Suite and the Air Force SDC.
Must be customerfocused and serviceoriented attentive to details with the ability to multitask and act with professionalism at all times
Excellent verbal and written communication skills phone etiquette data entry
Sound knowledge of hardware/software operating systems and networking related technologies is required
