Details of the offer

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED certificate
1 - 2 Years of Customer Service and Secretarial experience
1 - 2 Years of Experience with Communications Systems
Experience in operating Radio Console and Multi-line Telephone System
Proficient in Microsoft computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
Navajo speaking is preferred
Valid Driver's License required (subject to motor vehicle record review)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: Monitors and communicates by voice transmission radio traffic on a system wide basis and maintains a radio log for all activities.
Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of calls, provides basic information and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department, ensuring professional telephone etiquette. Maintains log of telephone activities.
Welcomes visitors, determines nature of business and announces visitors to appropriate personnel, maintaining professional and courteous demeanor; maintains records of arrival and departures of visitors.
Records time of departure, destination, cargo and expected time of return.
Assigns job orders on trouble calls to field personnel.
Reviews and maintains telephone records and bills.
Maintains log for all switching activities.
Utilizes a variety of computer and communications equipment; coordinates and notifies through radios, computers and phones.
Monitors systems and provides timely response to all requests for information from authorized personnel and other agencies.
Maintains a current record of the location and availability of personnel, vehicles and equipment.
Maintains accurate records and daily logs.
Acts as a liaison between customers and the Authority.
Must have excellent customer service, positive communication skills, and be a self-motivated team player
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
