Continental Tire plant in Sumter, South Carolina, is a 2 million sq. ft. tire manufacturing facility of Continental Tire the Americas, LLC on 500 acres of land, which produces high-quality, premium lines of passenger and light truck tires for original equipment and replacement markets. Our Sumter location is seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Intern to join our Sumter Plant Operations team.

Job Description Project Intern will be working on: Spare Parts Inventory Management Assist the spare parts warehouse team to establish an inventory schedule, organize the warehouse for increased storage, and labeling. Material Master Data Evaluate MRP relevance and ordering status via established reorder points. Update material master data for spare parts in SAP including lead times, info records and sourcing records. Supporting sourcing of spare parts Identify parts which can be sourced directly from manufacturer and assess further cost savings opportunities. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher Be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in status at a 4-year University Have a relevant major in Supply Chain, Business, Operational Management or other related field Be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint Be Able to adhere to company policies Manage confidential information Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
