Job Description Position Summary The Staff Accountant position reports to the AP Manager and is primarily responsible for vendor maintenance, pulling check schedules, reviewing transactions in the AP workflow, reconcile p-card transactions, make payments in multiple currencies via multiple banks, invoice entry, and other special projects.
Location is Tulsa, OK. This position is primarily a Brick and Mortar position.
Please Note: This position supports the International team so hours will be 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Pay rate will be $18-$20/hr
Here's what you'll be doing Review of AP invoices in the workflow prior to transfer into the ERP system. Enter invoices and process payments. Ensure all corporate policies and SOP's are adhered to and recommend policy changes and improvements as necessary. International Accounting Lead in operational efficiency and effectiveness. Assist all outsourcing functions as needed. Provide ongoing support to business partners
Qualifications Our most successful candidates will have: - Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university with 0-3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Microsoft Word, and Excel as well as working knowledge of financial systems - Good grasp of fundamental accounting concepts and ability to apply that knowledge - Knowledge/experience in the application of generally accepted accounting principles - Strong customer service orientation as demonstrated in previous relevant roles - Ability to manage relationships with employees and staff within the organization - Demonstrated analytical skills to review financial data and produce reports and statements that meet company standards - Initiative to take ownership of business unit accounting work to allow financial analysts to focus on providing financial support to business - Preference for working in a service-oriented environment where continuous improvement of business processes is expected.
