As we continue to innovate, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive.Role overview:As the Senior Director of Diversity Equality Inclusion (DEI), Workforce Development and Talent Pathways, youwill lead DEI efforts globally with responsibility for all North America/EMEA/Mexico DEI programs, global ERG strategy and operations. Given the growing intersection with DEI and workforce development initiatives in North America, this role will also have the responsibilities to lead workforce strategies to expand the STEM and semiconductor talent pipeline to meet the future workforce needs through non-traditional pathways, strategic partnerships and educational initiatives aimed at diversifying the talent pool for the industry.Your mission is to champion diversity, promote equity, and ensure that Micronremainsa place where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered.Key Responsibilities:Strategy and Vision:Develop and lead execution of a comprehensive DEIand Workforce Developmentstrategy aligned with Micron's business goals.Set clearobjectives, track progress, and continuously refine our approach to diversity and inclusion.Collaborate with senior leaders to integrate DEI into all aspects of our operations.Leadership and Advocacy:Serve as a visible advocate for DEI, both internally and externally.Drive and execute the global employee resource groups (ERGs), affinity networks, and external partners to enhance impact and engagement.Influence leadership decisions byprovidingdata-driven insights on diversity metrics and trends.Collaborate with Center of Excellence (COE)Influence and implement DEI best practices and strategies throughout the employee life cycle i.e., inclusive recruitment,compensation,and benefits, learning in developmentPartner with talent management, wellbeing, and culture teams to advance global DEI initiativesFoster a culture of continuous learning and awareness around bias, microaggressions, and cultural competence.Implement and oversee inclusive learning and sponsorship programs.Metrics and Reporting:Assistin establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of DEIand Workforce Developmentinitiatives.Regularly report progress to executive leadership.Use data toidentifyareas for improvement and celebrate successes.Community Engagement:Strengthen Micron's partnerships with external organizations focused on diversity and inclusion.Participate in industry forums, conferences, and events to share best practices and learn from others.Workforcedevelopment initiativesand university networksLead and innovate to pioneer the diversified talent ecosystem through strategic universitynetworks and workforce development strategies, including the funding mechanism and drive value proposition.Connect universities/networks, community colleges, semiconductor associations, government agencies and partners, and industry companies to develop and deliver workforce development strategies, including building awareness, modernizing curriculum, partnering with faculty and research, expanding experiential learning, including hands-on training and apprenticeships, and increasing opportunities for all.Lead the non-traditional pathways program, including apprenticeship, career re-entry, career transition/veteran program, and certification.Requirements:Minimum of 10+ years improving employee and organizational performance through the design and delivery of people programs, either in a centralized talent development functionProventrack recordof driving impactful DEI programs in a global organization.Effective leadership and management of a high performing team, setting direction and strategies, managing individual and team performance, ensuring employee development, and driving deep employee engagement.Extensive experience implementing talent acquisition systems including design, implementation, and ongoing process improvements.Ability to translate business priorities into actionable people strategies and development programs.Experience leading and managing cross-functional projects and large-scale change initiatives requiring a high degree of strategic thinking, collaboration, detailed execution, and influence.Knowledgeapplying andleveragingdata and analytics to contribute to a holistic talent strategy and large-scale transformation.Intellectual curiosity, passion to learn and actively study the latest research and trends in behavioral science and organizational performance.Strong facilitator of programs and development discussionsBachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience)Exceptional business acumen and ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders and external partners.Demonstrated continual learning through on-going education or self-directed learning is expected.Experience working in the technology industry is highly desirable.Strong written and verbal communication skillsWillingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30%.The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$182,000.00 - $341,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
