Position Summary:
As a Social Media Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging content and implementing effective social media strategies on behalf of our esteemed partner schools. Working collaboratively within our dynamic Marketing team, you'll drive traffic, foster engagement, and enhance brand awareness for our clients. We are seeking candidates with a keen eye for detail and a proven track record in digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, execute, and oversee social media marketing strategies to amplify traffic and engagement across both Organic and Awareness campaigns.
Curate, schedule, and manage content across various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, among others.
Conceptualize and implement creative campaigns spotlighting university communities, faculty, student life, and other key aspects of our partners.
Design compelling graphics, short videos, and other multimedia assets for social media use.
Collaborate closely with Account Management and Marketing leadership to devise, execute, and evaluate campaign strategies, ensuring optimal effectiveness.
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, opportunities for enhancement, and strategies for maximizing ROI.
Present innovative opportunities for growth and improvement to clients, including one-off projects such as audits.
Participate in client meetings to review campaign performance, interpret data insights, and propose actionable plans for optimization.
Foster cross-channel collaboration to provide clients with comprehensive insights into their overall marketing performance.

Educational Requirements and Background:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of client-facing experience in social media management, with a proven ability to cultivate and expand online audiences.
Proficiency in utilizing third-party social media management and monitoring tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Falcon, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
Strong graphic design skills and content creation capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with GA4 for performance tracking and reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for trend analysis.
Basic understanding of HTML and JavaScript.
Knowledge of the higher education and post-secondary education sector.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and Canva for multimedia content creation.
