SNF Memory Care LVN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent required Graduation from an approved vocational nursing program required Current, active state vocational nursing license required Six months to one year of LVN experience preferred, but not required Clinic experience preferred, but not required Qualified candidates must have strong interpersonal skills, must be able to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, and effectively communicate and interact with diverse patient populations. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology. Familiarity with health care systems, regulations, policies and functions, and documentation standards. Knowledge of infectious disease management and control and safety standards. Skill in initiating appropriate emergency procedures. Ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses. Ability to handle effectively multiple tasks simultaneously.
