About the role: Oversee and direct the day-to-day activities of Customer Service and Sample Receiving personnel and Soil Prep personnel. Improve the accuracy and efficiency of the sample log-in process with the goal of minimizing COC review time. Assists with the day-to-day activities in the customer service and receiving areas as warranted due to absences or high sample volume. Oversee Soil Prep and assign projects. Work closely with Customer Service, clients, and the Quality Assurance (QA) Department to identify means to improve client COC paperwork submissions. The process goal to be reducing time required to identify client needs and ensure continued compliance with our corporate QA program and standards. Perform other duties as assigned. About you: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Diligent work ethic and the ability to work independently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details. High energy level, confidence, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in computers. Attention to detail. Desire to produce error free work. Will to work overtime as needed. Required Qualifications: High school diploma. Some college level math classes and chemistry courses preferred. Physical Demands: Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with staff, management, and clients. Able to sit, and /or stand for 100% of an 8-hour day. Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment. Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment. Able to lift 50 lbs.
