The Acute Care Occupational Therapist will play a crucial role in the delivery of occupational therapy modalities to a diverse patient population. The ideal Therapist will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, hospital leadership experience and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Developing and implementing patient care plans with hospital leadership including, conducting patient assessments, determining occupational therapy needs, creating and implementing individualized treatment plans and working in collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure quality and comprehensive care will be a large part of the Occupational Therapists schedule. Additional responsibilities will include providing education to patients and their families on the recommended therapeutic exercises and activities as well as documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records. The Therapist will be overseeing the Occupational Therapy team including talented aide's, experienced therapists and excited students.  
A strong Occupational Therapist with leadership and acute care hospital experience will surely make for a quick interview.
