An SEO Regional Service Owner (Senior Service Engineer) is responsible for providing Regional support for all PSJH locations in their assigned region. They are accountable for the service delivery of all IT spaces (MDF / IDF) in the Region in a manner that promotes and supports Providence's mission, values, and philosophy. Service delivery includes supporting daily operations, ensuring infrastructure uptime, coordination and delivery of approved deployment projects, and 24x7 response to critical infrastructure/facility alerts.
Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers, (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts.

Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering. Or equivalent education/experience.
5 years Related experience; more preferred.
Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
Experience with n-tier solutions.
Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually).
Experience influencing software engineering team members in translating customer and technical requirements into service architecture to meet Quality of Service Expectations.
Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and standups to establish appropriate prioritization of Live Site requirements.
Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Experience in problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis.
Preferred qualifications: IT infrastructure experience working in IDF/MDF/Data Centers and participating in the implementation of IT infrastructure projects.
Knowledge and understanding of Data Center HVAC, air flow, mechanical and electrical systems including: generators, UPS systems, PDU/ATS units, chillers, air handling units, and CRAC units.
Experience in a Healthcare environment.
