Responsibilities
• Analyze, administer, and maintain telecommunications and network cabling infrastructure• Dress, terminate, and test cables and components• Install, maintain, and repair voice and data communications systems• Interpret service orders, circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics• Test, locate, install, and repair cabling infrastructure associated with trouble calls• Verify work order information and receipt of necessary equipment• Document network by labeling and routing equipment and cables• Maintain network by troubleshooting and repairing outages• Participate in special projects• Identify, track, and remove abandoned cable
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience• DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification• Experience working in a DoD or IC environment desired• Current active TS/SCI clearance
Key Skills Needed
• Knowledge of TDM networks• Experience with Voice over IP networks (VOIP)• Familiarity with fiber optic cabling infrastructure• Ability to work with power tools and ladders• Proficiency in network cabling test equipment
