Senior Network Analyst

A recognized services company in Virginia is currently seeking a new Network Analyst for a great Senior-level opportunity with their team.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Network Analyst will:
Perform maintenance and changes on network routers, switches, and wireless equipment, as required
Perform Implementation/Configuration of new network routers, switches, and wireless devices, as required
Assist with troubleshooting internetwork connectivity and wireless issues.
Utilize change management and ticketing systems, documents status updates and problem resolutions.
Complete all assignments and project work in a timely manner with an acceptable level of quality
Follow documented processes, procedures, and policies
Perform customer service duties and responds to customer and project requests as defined by management
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: 5+ years of experience administering Routers and Switches
Bachelor's Degree
SolarWinds management experience
Experience with Cisco router and switches.
Networking TCP/IP routing experience
Experience with network break/fix of layer 2 and 3 environments
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
Network related industry certifications
Cisco Wireless experience
Cisco Nexus platform experience
Cisco SDWAN
SPLUNK experience
Experience working in an environment subject to regulatory compliance
Experience with supporting an enterprise network at a Utility company
Strong understanding of packet capture analysis
