Job Description
SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst, School Financial Servicesprovides a broad range of financial services for multiple virtualacademies. Reporting to the Senior Director, Regional Finance, thisposition delivers and coordinates all financial support for the school,operates as a project manager working across multiple functions withinthe Company to ensure execution of monthly, quarterly, and annualdeliverables are achieved. The role monitors trends in order toformulate strategies and provide insight to key stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Coordinates delivery of financial services to the schools;
Prepares/provisions financial reporting and other analytics;develops annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis;
Implements and ensures compliance with the company\'s and school\'sfinance policies, internal controls and business processes; supportsschool audits and ensures all tax filings are prepared andsubmitted;
Becomes an expert on the schools\' financials; files statutoryreports with the State Department of Education as necessary;
Interacts with and provides financial support to the charter ordistrict partner and its school board(s) or officers(s);
Manages financial communication with the school board(s) or districtofficers(s);
Functions as project manager on local and corporate financialinitiatives, working across multiple functions within theorganization to ensure delivery on long-term projects/objectives;
Prepares submissions for state and federal funding programs in atimely and accurate manner to include funding determinations, auditresponses, and interim financial reports;
Assists in the development of grant and other funding opportunities.

Demonstrates knowledge of proper business practices and bestpractices in the use of ERP, specifically financials.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no formalsupervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, economics, finance, math or arelated field AND
Five (5) years of experience in financial analysis OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Certificates and Licenses : None required.
OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internalcontrols
Strong research and analysis skills
Able to work well as part of a team
Possess very good communication skills - written and verbal
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to pass required background check
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Masters of business administration (MBA)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Stride, Inc. considers a person\'seducation, experience, and qualificatio s, as well as the position\'swork location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel(if any), external market and internal value when determining a newemployee\'s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors,the position\'s level and expected contribution, and the employee\'sbenefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of therange.
We anticipate the salary range to start at \$57,384 or higher. Eligibleemployees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as anindividual\'s compensation can vary based on several factors. Thesefactors include, but are not limited to, geographic location,experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Strideoffers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can includehealth benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
