Job summary
The Sr SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager is responsible for external financial reporting, internal reporting, and technical accounting.Primary responsibilities include preparing US GAAP financials, researching and analyzing technical accounting matters, and collaborating with other departments.This role requires a strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting, as well as attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities
• Serve as a key member of the SEC reporting team and process• Facilitate technical accounting research, analysis, documentation, and enablement• Ensure effective controls around SEC reporting, internal reporting, and technical accounting process• Support the review of Financial Statements with external auditors and operational leaders• Assist in the preparation of accounting entries for complex matters• Coordinate the review of complex technical accounting with external auditors• Develop cross-functional relationships and serve as a key business partner• Assist in the implementation of process and system improvements• Collaborate with GL Accounting, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and HR departments• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required• CPA and/or public accounting experience required• 5+ years of relevant accounting and reporting experience• Proficient technical accounting skills and thorough understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting• Experience with revenue recognition, particularly software-as-a-service• Experience with new accounting standards and management experience preferred• Experience in a global public company preferred• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and quantitative skills• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
