Adjunct Faculty – Distillation Science Job Description:
The Department of Craft Brewing and Distillation Science at Sacred Heart University is seeking motivated applicants whose teaching responsibilities will be in the Distillation Science Program. We are currently searching for adjunct, non-benefits-eligible, non-tenure track faculty positions.
Teaching responsibilities may include lecture, laboratory, or distillation internship oversight. Instruction is needed in the areas of distillation science, food and beverage management, and distillery operations. Positions begin late May 2024. Requirements: We are seeking individuals with the following qualifications: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts required. Master of Science or Master of Arts preferred. Previous experience in distillation science or distillery management required. Expertise in one or more of the following areas preferred: Distillation Food and beverage management including safe serve certification Front end management Cellar management Production management Packaging Quality control / quality assurance Interested and well-qualified candidates should apply via this portal only.
