The Calvin University School of Business (CUSB) invites applications for a full-time faculty member in management (open rank, tenure-track or renewable-term) to join the school beginning in August 2024. Requirements The university seeks applicants with vibrant Christian faith who are dedicated to integration of that faith with their field of study.
Ideal candidates will hold a PhD or other terminal degree in management or a related business discipline. Candidates with a master's degree or ABD in management or a related business discipline and five years of relevant business experience will also be considered. They are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or master's level and have an active stream of relevant research and publication.
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Expertise in entrepreneurship, and/or operations and supply chain management
Practical experience in business
Strong networks in the business community
A commitment to experiential learning
Teaching competence in a secondary field, including but not limited to organizational behavior, leadership, human resources, strategy, project management, negotiation, or marketing

Faculty Responsibilities Faculty members typically teach 24 semester hours per academic year. Faculty are expected to grow in Reformed Christian commitment; to pursue an active scholarly agenda; to teach effectively; to advise students well; to serve the university, department, students, and the wider community; and to engage actively with professional associations and learned societies such as the Academy of Management, International Leadership Association, Society for Business Ethics, Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, Christian Business Faculty Association, and others.
