Sales Agronomist

Crown Recruiting seeks a Sales Agronomist to join the team of a prominent ag cooperative in the Shelby, IA area! The Sales Agronomist plays a key role in driving sales efforts & building relationships with valued customers by providing tailored solutions & recommendations. Requirements Responsibilities: Build & maintain strong relationships with existing & future clients Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, & give expert agronomic advice & crop planning recommendations to customers Responsible for increasing sales of crop inputs & related products to established customers Provide expert agronomic advice & recommendations to customers Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, & competitors Prepare sales reports & forecasts to meet company goals Qualifications: Valid driver's license & willingness to travel within territory required Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field 1-3 years' experience in sales within ag industry preferred Strong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, & ag technologies Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required & ability to learn/use Ag software Excellent communication & interpersonal skills  We kindly request all applicants respect the confidentiality of this posting and refrain from attempting to deduce or disclose the associated company.
