JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Refrigeration Installation Department Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of refrigeration systems across various locations along the Washington coast. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field and will possess strong leadership skills to manage a crew of union pipefitters, with the team expected to grow from 4 to 10 or 12 members in the near future.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of union pipefitters, ensuring efficient and high-quality installation of refrigeration systems.
Oversee all aspects of departmental operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and project management.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Grocery Outlet, to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Drive business development efforts to expand the company's client base and increase revenue.
Prepare accurate project estimates and budgets, and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
Forecast future departmental needs and develop strategies to achieve departmental growth targets.
Collaborate closely with the owner/president to develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow the business.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in refrigeration installation, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Knowledge of union regulations and experience working with unionized labor.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
