Responsibilities
• Optimizes patient experience and supports Radiology providers.• Coordinates patient flow and schedules exams/procedures.• Assists with patient preparation, positioning, and communication.• Maintains supplies and communicates with ordering providers.• Works a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required, Associate Degree preferred.• 2 years related experience, preferably in medical setting.• Knowledge of radiology procedures and medical terminology.• Basic Life Support, MRI Safety, and Safe Patient Handling certifications.• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage difficult situations.• Strong keyboarding and computer skills.• Basic understanding of insurance terminology.• Certification as MA, PCA, or CNA preferred.
