As a Radiologic Technologist at Riverhills Neuroscience, you will play a crucial role in patient care, contributing to both clinical and administrative functions. Your responsibilities include: Perform fluoroscopic C-Arm procedures as directed by physician Serves as a resource in the radiation safety principle As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) and implement measures to limit patient, physician and staff exposure to radiation. Ensure patient documentation is initiated in the fluoroscopic system and completion of all documentation related to EMR complying with HIPAA standards. Monitors and promotes safety, infections control, positive customer relations, and patient comfort in procedure area. Assist in all aspects of procedural area including but not limited to: managing reprocessable supplies and sterilizer quality assurance, ordering supplies and medications, maintaining a clean work environment, reporting any equipment repairs to manager, and transferring patients. Monitor order and return Dosimetry badges in accordance with cycle. Ensures review and posting of Occupational Radiation Exposure Reports and complying with OSHA guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Background and Experience: Current ARRT certification Current Licensure by the State of Ohio Associate Degree of Radiologic Technology from an accredited School of Radiology is required.
