*This position is based out of our Westlake, OH office and is eligible for a hybrid schedule after probationary period. JOB SUMMARY:
The Public Investment Processor reviews investment requests to verify that each submission includes all appropriate documentation, and is titled properly to ensure ownership through the client's self-directed IRA. Works with clients to obtain necessary corrections to complete the request(s). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Partner with third-party vendors, fund companies and internal teams to facilitate client trade requests and monitors trade order information Complete daily settlement to ensure trades and transactions reflect timely in client accounts Research corporate action exception reporting and reconciles outages on accounts Complete reconciliation of internal system information with broker reporting to ensure accurate record keeping Prepare and execute all required paperwork, payment forms and outgoing mail correspondence according to client direction Maintain SLAs, productivity measurements, and quality audits/assessments Accurately enter asset information and funding instructions in workflow system Answer incoming calls from clients and third parties to assist with questions regarding processing and paperwork and providing status updates Respond and resolve other research items as assigned, to ensure accuracy of statements, billing, and other company initiatives OTHER FUNCTIONS: Updates accounts that require manual processing to reflect reinvested dividends and ensures incoming cash dividends are applied properly Monitors internal inboxes and responds or disseminates accordingly Submits documents for signing and prepares them for delivery Identifies areas for process improvement and collaborates across teams to implement changes Revises and modifies department procedures to align with current and new team processes Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in operations preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION(S): None required TECHNICAL SKILLS: Basic level proficiency in Microsoft Office BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The Associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. It requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
