Job Duties: Answer phones Take orders in person and over the phone Multitask and be efficient Work together with other kitchen team members and management Keep the kitchen clean and tidy Follow all safety and sanitation procedures Handle cleaning chemicals safely Assisting with stocking Working with others to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time resolving customer complaints or issues putting takeout orders in containers or bags processing discounts and coupons greeting customers as they arrive answering customer questions assisting with or taking customer orders booking reservations upselling and making recommendations completing any return transactions maintaining cleanliness in register stations and tables closing or cashing out the register at the end of the day overseeing customer order completion Assisting kitchen staff as needed processing payments and providing change and receipts Required Qualifications If interested in applying for this position, please note that the minimum age requirement is 18 years. The ideal candidate should possess a detail-oriented approach with a high standard of cleanliness. They should be capable of providing leadership and following instructions. The candidate should also be able to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen would be desirable, along with a team-oriented attitude. A good understanding of Italian cuisine is essential. If the candidate has the ability to prepare delicious sauces and dishes, they would be considered the ideal candidate for the position.
