Privacy Engineer (Senior) Personnel Qualifications: A bachelor's degree and eight (8) years of relative experience, OR A master's degree and six (6) year of relative experience, OR At least 15 years of relative experience in an IT or Legal field in lieu of a degree. At least six (6) years' experience in developing, implementing, or evaluating Privacy Act documentation. At least five (5) years' experience in Privacy Act, NIST and FISMA compliance background experience developing, implementing, or evaluating Privacy Threshold Analysis, Privacy Impact Analysis, and System of Record Notices. At least five (5) years' experience working on cyber security or privacy engagements with the federal government. At least two (2) full privacy projects experience. One or more of the following preferred certifications: Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) Capabilities: Extensive experience leading full Privacy Act activities and processes. Extensive experience in FISMA, Privacy Act and NIST Framework. Extensive understanding and experience developing Privacy Threshold Analysis, Privacy Impact Assessments, and System of Record Notices. Identify privacy risks, develop specific corrective action plans to mitigate risks, and assist in engineering solutions. Experience developing Privacy Act compliance strategy and implementation plan. Provide strategic Privacy Act methodology and best practice recommendations. Excellent oral and written communications on project status and issues with leadership. Communicate privacy topics to leadership and executives. Interface with customers to educate on privacy concepts and best practices. Extensive knowledge of and experience implementing privacy best practices. Strong team player committed to excellence. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
