Lincoln Park Middle School Out-of-School Time (OST) Coordinator The Lincoln Park Middle School (LPMS) Out-of-School Time Coordinator is a year-round, full-time (40 hour/week) position responsible for the implementation of high-quality afterschool and summer programs, services, and community youth leadership development as part of the Lincoln Park Full-Service Community School model. The programming currently serves between 200-300 students per year through afterschool clubs and activities and summer enrichment programming.
This position will report to DCSC's Program Director and will work as a team with the Lincoln Park Middle School Full-Service Community School Coordinator.

Position Details: Full-Time (40 hours per week), year-round position Required Qualifications: Youth Development:
Minimum of three years' experience working in afterschool or summer youth programs Demonstrated experience creating and implementing activity plans and implementing trauma informed behavior management with pre-teens/teens including using individualized communication styles to meet youth where they are. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate Middle School youth program best practices and ability to positively engage with youth and center youth voice in your work. Professional development (training) in quality youth development practices, trauma, restorative practices, or other related areas that demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning and professionalism in youth work. Experience working with young people or families who are or have experienced homelessness Program Management:
Comfort with utilizing email, word processing, spreadsheets, data management databases, and virtual meetings as well as phone and texting for regular communication. Experience with Google suite including Gmail and Google Drive is beneficial, but not required. Comfort with regular data tracking and reporting, including preparing reports and narratives to demonstrate progress. Highly organized, thorough, and detail-oriented recordkeeping and communication required. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Anti-Racism:
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing development of personal/professional antiracism through involvement in antiracism workshops, organizations, community leadership, and/or personal experience Commitment to the mission, goals, and organizational values of the Duluth Community School Collaborative Desired, but Not Required, Qualifications: Experience supervising staff & volunteers Experience working or living alongside families and youth in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Duluth Bachelor's degree in youth development, education, social work, early childhood, or related field. Duties: Program Management Manage and coordinate afterschool and summer programs. Ensure high-quality programs and establish new program activities and partnerships. Ensure high-quality programs through innovative program development, evaluations, and ongoing training of staff in partnership with DCSC Program Director and LPMS Team. Prioritize regular communication with families of program participants. Coordinate logistics of programs including but not limited to registration, snacks/meals, transportation, staff, partner, & volunteer supervision, timesheets, facilities, supplies, and program evaluation Create & maintain accurate database of program participants including health and safety information/plans, and attendance Track program data and administer program satisfaction & outcomes surveys to students & families and report results Collaborate with DCSC Executive Director, Program Director, and LPMS Team on identifying grants, grant reporting, and implementation requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact regarding LPMS after school and summer programming for parents, community partners, agency, and school staff. Collaborative Leadership Develop and maintain positive relationships with school staff and DCSC team. In coordination with LPMS Full-Service Community School Coordinator and LPMS Team, establish, maintain, and expand partnerships with other community organizations, individuals, and agencies. Seek to maintain and/or adapt program offerings as needed to respond to evolving youth needs and interests, availability of resources, and partnership opportunities. Participate in regular coordination meetings with DCSC team, LPMS staff, and community partners. In partnership with other staff, school, and community partners, plan and support implementation of Family/Community events. In partnership with LPMS and DCSC Team, support Full-Service Community School programs and services. Other duties as assigned. Work hours are generally between 9:30am and 5:30pm M-F, summer hours may vary. _ Some schedule flexibility is possible but being present leading up to and during all program hours (M-F 3:15-5:15pm school year, M-Th 11am-3:30pm summer) is required. _
