Job Description:
Flexport is seeking a confident and resourceful Online Accounts Receivable associate to join our team in New York City. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Online Accounts Receivable role is ideal for someone with at least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
Responsibilities:- Manage and track online accounts receivable for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payment processing- Communicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices, payment discrepancies, and payment arrangements- Analyze client payment patterns and trends to identify potential issues and implement solutions- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any billing or payment issues- Utilize critical thinking skills to identify process improvements and streamline accounts receivable procedures- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and client communications- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional and timely manner- Act as a resource for teammates and assist with training new employees when needed- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to think critically and problem solve independently- Previous experience in people management or leadership roles is a plus
