Facilitate technician involvement in safety programs. Promote and consistently enforce company and MSHA safety regulations and requirements. Directly supervise heavy equipment maintenance personnel. Ensure that tasks assigned to the crew are conducted safely, efficiently, and meet quality specifications. Coordinate equipment needs and priorities with Production Supervisors, maintenance planning and scheduling personnel, other maintenance supervisors, and superintendents. Plan and resource urgent work as well as complete scheduled tasks. Maintain detailed and accurate shift records. Identify individual crew member's training needs and coordinate training with maintenance trainer and senior technical advisor/trainer. Focus on design for reliability with the intent to release an asset to our customers in acceptable condition including but not limited to hose orientation, clamps, harnesses, and clips, etc. in place to avoid failure. Assist and advise relief supervisors with inspection and repair quality with the intent to meet and exceed MTTFF goal. A strong safety background is required. Previous supervisory experience is desirable. Experience in surface mining equipment is desirable. Skills and Abilities:Ability to learn basic techniques of the safe handling and proper application of drilling fluids additives. Written and verbal communication skills required. Basic computer skill required. Knowledge of SAP preferred. Working Conditions & LocationPosition based in United States at the Cripple Creek & Victor Mine, located in Teller County Colorado. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
