Provide brief evidence based counseling to individuals who are dealing with a variety of mental health issues who are referred for services by their primary care provider, or specialty care provider. Work collaboratively with the primary care or specialty care provider, as well as coordinate consultation with psychiatrist and/or psychiatric NP as appropriate. Work directly with managed care companies, insurers to assure optimal delivery of services. Complete clinical and administrative data entry and paperwork in an effective, timely manner. Participate in occasional community presentations and marketing efforts. It is important to have the ability to work well within a team setting and be able to interact positively with various disciplines of the team for optimal client care.*This is designated as a safety-sensitive position* EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and licensure preferred, but employer offers opportunity for counseling supervision for new Masters Graduates in mental health field. Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population of consumers served in the department. Washington State Licensure in Social Work, Mental Health, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Washington State Driver's License with current Liability insurance to use personal vehicle and/or LHN Company vehicles for LHN business purposes. Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, writes, and speaks English. Ability to work with culturally diverse populations.
