Position: Medical Science Liaison (MSL)
As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), you'll be an integral part of our field-based team, serving as an extension of our US Medical Affairs organization. MSLs play a crucial role in developing and nurturing professional relationships with medical thought leaders across various stages of product development. You'll provide medical information through scientific exchange in a fair and balanced manner, offering clinical and scientific support under the guidance of Medical Affairs management.
Territory: LA, MS, AR, South AL, Florida Panhandle
Responsibilities:
Identify and cultivate relationships with Key Thought Leaders (TLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing available scientific resources and delivering presentations that effectively communicate medical information.
Collaborate with the clinical organization to enhance patient enrollment in BMS-sponsored clinical trials.
Provide recommendations and insights to the clinical development team on study feasibilities within the therapeutic area.
Serve as the primary liaison to investigators interested in developing and conducting investigator-sponsored research (ISR).
Ensure compliance with BMS Pharmacovigilance procedural documents and promptly report any identified Adverse Events.
Develop and execute territory and account plans, contributing to regional and national strategy execution.
Deliver clinical presentations and information in various settings, responding to unsolicited questions.
Collect and provide meaningful medical insights to support strategy development and business decisions.
Qualifications:
MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with experience in a specific Disease Area or broad medical background with relevant pharmaceutical experience.
BS degree in a scientific or medical discipline required; MD, DO, PharmD, MSN, or PhD strongly preferred.
Minimum 3 years of clinical or research experience in rheumatology.
Proven ability to work independently and within cross-functional networks.
Current working knowledge of US legal, regulatory, and compliance regulations relevant to industry interactions with healthcare professionals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting compensation range: $150,000 - $200,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).
