Mathematics Coach
Guilford Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Mathematics Coach beginning in the ********
school year. The position requires deep pedagogical content knowledge in mathematics, five years of successful
mathematics teaching or related experience, knowledge of and experience with adult learning, and strong interpersonal
skills. Coaches work co-accountability with teachers providing whole school, small group, and individualized support to
grow professional knowledge and skill in service of student learning.
Salary is based on teacher contractual agreement plus instructional coach stipend.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Experience as a math teacher, staff developer, math curriculum specialist or supervisor; knowledge of the Connecticut
student assessment system and CT math standards; and knowledge of disciplinary literacy in mathematics.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Appropriate teacher certification with minimum 5 years relevant teaching experience; math endorsement preferred.
