Manager, ManufacturingDevon, PAOn-SiteThe Manufacturing Manager will assure that dsm-firmenich products are of consistent and high quality by managing the operations of said areas in compliance with SHE and quality system requirements to achieve customer quality and service expectations. This role will have full accountability of the said area including but not limited to: manufacturing, testing, planning, process support and improvement.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manager operations personnel to assure products are manufactured in accordance with SHE, quality system and schedule requirements.Lead troubleshooting process for process/equipment /tooling/other problems that occur during daily production activities.  Effectively interact with other departments to resolve issues.Develop and/or monitor Key Performance Indicators and ensure adequate management reporting of the performance of the area.Provide leadership in the daily coordination and prioritization  of inter-departmental activities between the ares and other departments (E.g. identifying and communicating information related to variances, budgets and expense info with Finance, etc.).  Ensure appropriate follow up is given.Continuously monitor skill sets and implement training & development plans for personnel within the department.  Ensure succession planning is considered.Manage key departmental financial requirements including budget expenses and variances.Develop or revise SOP's as required and ensure compliance with standards; initiate or review departmental Engineering Change Requests, Deviations, CAPAs and NCR's .Identify needs, develop and implement plans for production capacity expansion as required.Coordinate job, safety, and GMP training for production personnel as required.We Bring:A competitive compensation package, with comprehensive health and welfare benefits.A place to grow and develop.A company that is purpose-led and performance-driven in a corporate culture that values people and planet.The opportunity to work on growing brands and build on a strong foundation.The chance to make improvements and make an impact on the business.You Bring:Bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline or equivalent training and experience required.Good written and oral communications skills, understanding of engineering concepts, proven supervisory and management skills, computer literacy.Minimum of 8 years working in a regulated or cGMP manufacturing environment.Minimum of 3 years supervisory manufacturing experience.Demonstrated ability to communicate and effectively utilizing verbal, written and analytical skills.Proficient using MS Word, Excel and Outlook.Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to follow detailed-technical directions.Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.dsm-firmenich is fully dedicated to inclusion because when people feel engaged and empowered, their creativity and innovation drives unprecedented progress.
