Provide directional leadership for account directors by overseeing daily activities and performance management in order to consistently meet/exceed our team's objectives of customer health, retention and product adoption Establish best practices for how to effectively manage a team of ADs and their book of business and develop and implement service initiatives, strategies and programs to help increase your team's productivity Support team in account strategy planning and serve as escalation point for customer issues that arise  Act as an internal trusted advisor, leader, and advocate for team members  Enable teams to educate customers in all segments on Carta's broader mission of creating owners and liquidity Work with account director leadership to drive feedback on the growing requirements of all customers Meet team targets for logo/dollar retention, and customer health as set by our Fund Admin Business Unit The Team You'll Work With The Manager role is a critical role within the broader account director team, reporting to the Director of Account Directors, Fund Administration. This team is hyper-focused on building processes and using technology to scale proactive customer outreach. You will lead a team of account directors ensuring our customers are getting value out of Carta products, identifying opportunities for sales of additional features, and managing them successfully through the renewal process. The team is dedicated to improving the customer experience, being the voice of the customer internally, and retaining as many customers as possible.
About You We're looking for customer-centric, organized professionals, who know how to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.  Cross-departmental collaboration and communication is critical to success in the role, and efficient time management is essential as well. In addition, we're prioritizing: 
Minimum of 7+ years of successful relationship management experience  Must have management experience with a proven track record of leading strong performing teams. Ability to train, mentor and develop direct reports facilitating buy-in to the overall objectives of the account director team Proven track record in customer engagement, resulting in increased engagement, customer satisfaction, and contract value growth on both upsells and driving expansion Experience working in financial services, fintech, venture capital, relationship management (experience with accounting is a plus but not required) Possesses a strong understanding of the private market ecosystem, alternative investment firm structures, and technical understanding of fund operations Resourceful and creative problem solving skills in order to provide optimal business or technical solutions Customer-first mindset, with a focus on seeking solutions to ensure greater lifetime value for our clients Self-motivated, proactive leader with innovative ideas to inspire your team promoting customer loyalty and adoption Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building strong internal and external relationships Proven ability to drive results, across multiple functions, and exceed allotted targets Diplomacy, tact and poise under pressure, and a high tolerance for ambiguity Growth mindset, proactive, and action-oriented Salary Carta's compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our expected cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is: 
$144,000.00 + commission in Seattle, WA
$160,000.00 + commission in San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA & New York City, NY
