Overview We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Boiler/Refrigeration Operator to join our team at our facility in Beaver Dam, WI, 53916. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our boilers and refrigeration systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for maintaining equipment to join a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities Operate and maintain boilers and refrigeration systems in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance Monitor and adjust controls to maintain appropriate temperatures, pressures, and levels Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and implement corrective actions Coordinate with other maintenance team members to schedule and prioritize work orders Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as needed Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid Boiler Operator's license Refrigeration certification preferred Prior experience operating and maintaining boilers and refrigeration systems Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Effective communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Salary info: $28 - $33 / hr
