Seeking an LPN, Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operation of 15 bed CBRF. We are a privately owned and operated community offering a warm and supportive environment for our residents, visitors and staff. The ideal candidate will have knowledge CBRF regulatory requirements, experience in caring for frail older adults and those with dementia, and the ability to provide visible, proactive leadership. This is a part time position with flexible hours.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Build relationships with residents and their families through good communication and follow-through. Work with partner providers to develop a collaborative working relationship. Oversee and implement the training of employees and practice strong management principles to motivate and maintain staff. Monitor residents' functional status and needs on an ongoing basis, including prior to move-in and after hospital stays. Respond promptly to resident changes in condition and update service plans accordingly. Ensure healthcare needs of individuals are met. This includes but is not limited to reviewing 24 hour report and wellness monitoring, following up on noted concerns, completing current and accurate documentation and communication to physicians and responsible parties. Respond quickly to all emergencies, process incident reports and ensure proper handling of resident falls and elopement attempts and completion of risk assessments and interventions. Order medications and oversee the medication schedules for those residents receiving medications administration services. Document and destroy medications as required by residence policy and state regulation. Develop service plans and interventions and communicate services and support required to meet resident needs. Facilitate and coordinate details related to new admissions and move in process. QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent communication skills, ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations. Individual must be a team player, well organized and flexible.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2 plus years assisted living experience in supervisory/management position A current unencumbered nursing license Experience working with people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia a plus COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
