Now Hiring * Line 4 ADR Operator -C Shift Grade 5 ($21.25-$23.59) Training requirements: On the job training SUMMARY Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the sorting and defect removal equipment. Responsible for achieving optimum equipment performance which results in meeting or exceeding product quality standards relating to defects and/or sizing. Also helps in daily sanitation and clean-ups.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Promotes and adheres to company safety work rules and regulations. Operates prime and specialty defect control equipment. Performs machine preventative maintenance checks, diagnostic checks and routine adjustments on line equipment. Collects samples and inspects product for quality requirements and machine efficiencies. Monitors line flow volumes and sizing requirements of prime and specialty lines. Cleans and sanitizes processing equipment during scheduled shutdown. Inputs all information into Infinity and completes all records and reports. Completes SPC chart for defect levels. Relieves other employees under the discretion of the supervisor. Coordinates with other operators in varying departments. Attends and participates in all annual, departmental, and job-specific required training and monthly informational meetings. Communicates any problems or changes in production or quality to supervisor and appropriate personnel. Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process in order to ensure a quality operation. Keeps area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Helps to build and promote a strong "Teamwork" environment in each individual work group, the Factory, and the Company. Participates in continuous improvement process. Must adhere to the McCain Code of Conduct. The employee may be required to successfully complete the orientation and training provided during the first ninety- (90) days of employment.
