Knitting Machine Operator

We are looking for full-time machine operators with a desire to excel in a fast-paced high-tech environment, to continue our tradition of producing high-quality hosiery in our Knitting Department.
Hours: 6am to 2pm Monday - Friday. Overtime as needed.
Essential Dues and Responsibilities: Responsible for operating an assigned number of knitting machines while applying safety and quality standards. Continually inspect quality of semi-finished goods (hosiery). Retrieve correctly identified raw materials and keep knitting machines in ample supply of raw materials. Responsible for proper threading and re-threading of the knitting machines. Complete related job reporting functions and paperwork as required. Requirements: Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to be flexible and work under pressure in a fast-paced, fluid environment. Ability to interact in a proactive manner with peers and management. Team player. Must be capable of standing and walking up to 12 hours per day. Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. Frequent overhead reaching. Capable of adhering to Standard Work Procedures. Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication). Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferences: Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
