USAID's Office of Country Support (OCS) is the Bureau of Global Health's (GH) hub for providing integrated technical and programmatic assistance to USAID Mission health teams. Serving as a bridge between USAID/Washington and Missions, GH/OCS coordinates across the GH Bureau and Regional Bureaus to streamline support to Missions. This support aims to assist Missions to achieve country-level development objectives; develop, implement, and monitor the quality of field programs and activities; meet Agency design, monitoring and reporting requirements; and facilitate Washington/Mission alignment of USAID health priorities. GH/OCS also supports the GH's Country Health Team System, which draws on GH staff expertise from across Bureau offices to monitor and address strategic, technical, and programmatic issues, working with mission health staff to improve country and regional programming. Over the past 2 years, due to the staffing shortages at missions throughout the world, OCS established a Field Coordination Unit (FCU) to address the staffing needs of the field. The FCU manages several mechanisms that provide surge support to the Health Offices in missions throughout the world. These include GH-TAMS, PSC Rovers, FSO Rovers and the Health Firehouse PSCs.  
Log, track, and file all incoming and outgoing correspondence actions. Maintain administrative tracking systems and program files and assist in the design and maintenance of spreadsheets and databases to support these systems. Track the status of office wide procurement actions and other input required for various Agency level reports, actions, or briefers. Maintain mailing lists that include electronic directories for mailings to USAID worldwide, cooperating agencies, and other partners, donors, and stakeholders. Receive and respond to incoming calls and visitors. Maintain and update office telephone lists, visitor lists, and calendar of events. Photocopy documents for distribution and sends faxes as requested by USAID office staff. Receive and distribute mail, faxes, cables, and other requested information. Monitor, order, and maintain supplies for USAID offices and track inventory levels and re-supply common supply cabinets. Maintain calendars and schedules of key staff and provide logistical support for meetings, workshops, conferences, and retreats for USAID office staff. Develop and circulate notes from key meetings and track office compliance with actions and next steps resulting from meetings. Assist with administrative travel tasks. Work with USAID staff on general management and administrative operations. Collect and make arrangements for distribution of materials to USAID missions, USAID/W offices, host country institutions, and cooperating agencies. Pick up and deliver packages between USAID and the metropolitan DC area as requested. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience, Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or High School diploma and 5 years of relevant experience. US permanent residency with the ability to obtain and maintain Facility Access or US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Experience performing diverse administrative functions in a fast-paced global environment. Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and handle multi-tasking well. Demonstrated ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside stakeholders and partners. Strong analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills. Demonstrated effectiveness in managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members, managers, and others. Proficiency in Microsoft suite of programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google platforms (e.g., Gmail, google docs, etc.). Full salary range for this position is $58,929 to $86,060per year, with the starting salary determined based on candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.
